The Business Development Area manager will be responsible for:


  • Establishing Client as a key player in the water treatment industry for municipal and industrial customers,
  • Negotiate, sign and put into force contracts,
  • Follow long term relationship with existing clients,
  • Identify new projects,
  • Propose and implement, in accordance with the Group strategy and resources, a specific commercial action plan for Southern Europe in order to secure the projects,
  • Analyze business, partners, clients, and any contributors to our markets in SEE,
  • Promote all Client’s solutions to clients/partners and participate in marketing communication in SEE,
  • Build, with the support of the proposal manager, a winning proposal strategy and the action plan of the tender according to the client’s needs,
  • Identify the appropriate partners,
  • Deploy the bid action plan by following the client and guiding the project engineer on the technical, financial, fiscal and contractual aspects of the project,
  • Sign the partnership agreement and maintains relationships with clients along with the project manager in order to help the turnover growth,
  • Support commercially the execution team during construction,
  • Manage the office for all administration tasks.


The position is based in Milan or Zagreb, with frequent business trips within the country and Client’s facilities in Europe. The business development area manager will work under the supervision of the Business Development Director for South East Europe, based in Milan. He will have close relation with the proposal team in Milan and HQ, marketing, legal, and design departments of the company.
